How to choose between them
- Weight ratings. The rack lists 600 lb, the benches 630 lb and 520 lb. Check what the rating covers (user plus load or load only) on the page.
- Ceiling and floor space. Measure height and width, and compare with the dimensions on the brand page.
- What you already own. A rack needs a barbell and plates; the all-in-one home gym uses its own weight holder and optional bands.
- Safety. Learn proper form, and use spotter arms or safeties when lifting heavy.
FAQ
Do I need a bench and a rack?
